100 000 000 sharks are killed every year by humans.
12 humans or less are killed every year by sharks.
My photographs and not a documentation but an artistic choice to reveal the truth. Using variety of photographic and printing methods I seek to create tangible visual concepts and references to recurring themes of global environmental issues, and many other matters shaping human destiny.
Project Vanishing is an installation of over thousand platinum/palladium photographic prints emphasizing the loss of sharks species. Over 30 % of shark and rays species were found to be threatened or near-threatened with extinction.
Number of prints varies as the installation is site-specific.
